Adobe日前发布了Flash Player 11的首个Beta公测版，这也是继Flash 10在2008年10月发布之后Flash的又一次重大版本升级。Flash 11在Flash 10的基础上引入了大量新特性，还吸纳了Flash Player Incubator的Stage 3D、64位支持等特性。
Flash Player 11主要特性：
— Stage 3D APIs：支持GPU硬件加速3D、2D图形渲染；
— 64位支持：原生支持64位操作系统以及Linux、Mac OS X、Windows平台上的64位浏览器；
— G.711音频压缩：支持手机设备上的G.711音频压缩技术；
— 支持对摄像头视频进行H.264/AVC SW编码；
— Socket进度事件：创建先进的文件共享应用，例如FTP客户端，支持较大数据文件传输；
— 高清环绕音效；
— 原生JSON格式支持；
— 垃圾回收通告；
— 安全的随机数生成器
— JPEG-XR格式支持；
— 支持异步位图解码；
— 更高压缩比的SWF格式，压缩比高达40%。
