世界语(Esperanto)，又称“希望语”(Esperanto在该语言中的意思即“希望”)，旧译万国新语、爱斯不难读、爱斯沛揽拓，是最为广泛使用的人工语言。
波兰眼科医生柴门霍夫历时10余年的努力，1887年创立了这个语言的基础。
拉扎鲁·路德维克·柴门霍夫(Łazarz Ludwik Zamenhof)，生于1859年12月15日，卒于1917年4月14日，波兰籍犹太人。今天是他诞辰155周年纪念日。
柴门霍夫的母语是俄语和依地语，但也精通波兰语和德语，又曾学习了法语、拉丁语、希腊语、英语和希伯来语，同时也研究意大利语、西班牙语和立陶宛语。
世界语的命名来自于Doktoro Esperanto(希望博士)，这是柴门霍夫第一次出版《第一本书》时所使用的笔名。
世界语主要以印欧语系的日耳曼语族和罗曼语族的单词为基础，将语法尽可能地简化，使书面文字和发音完全互相符合，因此简单易学，成为普及最成功的一种人造语言。
世界语的定位是国际辅助语言，而不是用来代替世界上已经存在的语言。柴门霍夫的目标是创立一种简单易学而灵活的语言，一种普世的第二语言，用来促进世界和平及国际了解。现在一些世界语者仍然抱着这样的期望，但大多数人只是想用它来与外国人打交道以及了解其它的国家和文化。
世界语也是在人工语言中目前唯一被有人作为母语的，估计约有1000人。能够流利使用者约十万至两百万人，世界各地许多学校也都有提供世界语学习课程。Google、Facebook、Firefox、Ubuntu、维基百科都有世界语版面。
不过，至今仍无任何国家给予世界语官方地位。

En multaj lokoj de Ĉinio estis temploj de drako-reĝo. Dum trosekeco oni preĝis en la temploj, ke la drako-reĝo donu pluvon al la homa mondo. Tiam drako estis simbolo de la supernatura estaĵo. Kaj pli poste, ĝi fariĝis prapatro de la plej altaj regantoj kaj simbolis la absolutan aŭtoritaton de feŭda imperiestro. La imperiestro pretendis, ke li estas filo de la drako. Ĉiuj liaj vivbezonaĵoj portis la nomon drako kaj estis ornamitaj per diversaj drakofiguroj. Nun ĉie en Ĉinio videblas drako-ornamentaĵoj, kaj cirkulas legendoj pri drakoj.

中国多处有龙王庙。干旱时人们就去庙里祈求龙王给人间降雨。当时龙还是超自然力量的象征。此后，龙成了皇帝的祖先并象征了封建帝王的绝对威权。皇帝宣称自己是龙之子。皇帝的所有个人物品都带有龙的名字，装饰有龙形图案。如今，中国处处都能见到龙的装饰，处处都流传龙的神话。

In many places in China, there were temples of the loong-king. During times of drought, people would pray in the temples that the loong-king would give rain to the human world. At that time the dragon was a symbol of the supernatural. Later on, it became the ancestor of the highest rulers and symbolised the absolute authority of the feudal emperor. The emperor claimed to be the son of the dragon. All of his personal possessions carried the name "loong" and were decorated with various dragon figures. Now loong decorations can be seen everywhere in China and legends about loongs circulate.
