北京时间2016年8月14日，DOTA2一年一度的巅峰赛事第六届西雅图国际邀请赛落下帷幕，最终来自中国的Wings战队从全球十六支顶尖DOTA2战队中脱颖而出，在总决赛中以3比1击败了美洲赛区的DC战队，成功收获2016年的冠军盾并带走高达900万美元的奖金！
Wings被激动的国内网游奉为“护国神翼”，而他们的确捍卫了中国团队在TI赛事偶数年的冠军“西恩（CN）定律”，TI2的IG、TI4的NEWBEE都是如此。
